The Best Credit Card Offers by Category
Here are this month’s top offers, categorized for your travel style and financial goals:
Elevated/Limited Time Offers
These cards currently have elevated or limited-time offers. If you’ve been considering opening one of these and it makes sense for you, right now might be an ideal time to apply! Limited offers come and go quickly, sometimes without warning, so I’ll always keep this list up to date.
Flexibility is King: Transferable Rewards Cards
These cards offer the most versatile points, as they can be transferred to many airline and hotel loyalty programs. This flexibility allows you to find the highest-value redemption, maximizing your savings, and gives you the most options.
Current Highlight: Look for the Mid-Tier Flexible Travel Card offering an elevated bonus (approximately $750+ in travel value) for a moderate annual fee (around $95). This is the gold standard for points and miles beginners.
Airline Cards
If you consistently fly a specific carrier or its alliance partners, these co-branded cards are essential. They earn miles directly and include valuable travel-day perks that improve your flight experience.
Current Highlight: Top co-branded cards are offering bonuses of 60,000 to 90,000+ miles, often paired with valuable benefits like a free checked bag and priority boarding on every flight.
Hotel Cards
Perfect for brand-loyal travelers, these cards earn points for free nights and often include automatic elite status and annual free night certificates to enhance your stay.
Current Highlight: Several premium hotel cards are offering enough bonus points for multiple free nights at high-value properties and can grant automatic mid-tier status.
No Annual Fee Cards
These cards are crucial for building a healthy credit profile. Since they have no annual fee, you can keep them open forever, which can help raise your credit score by increasing your credit age.
Current Highlight: Look for the top no-fee cards offering a flat 1.5-2% back on every purchase or high-earning rates (up to 5x) in bonus categories. When paired with other points and miles rewards cards, you can turn some cash back into points and miles instead.
Best Cards for Beginners
If you're new to the points and miles world, we encourage you to join our Luxury Membership where you’ll find our "Points and Miles Simplified" course - included for free for all Luxury subscribers. We recommend starting with cards that have excellent value, strong earning rates, and simple redemption rules.
Current Highlight: The recommended starter cards are often the flexible travel cards with low or no annual fees, offering the simplest path to travel rewards without high commitment.
Premium Cards
These cards come with higher annual fees but offer some of the best travel perks, including airport lounge access (often global networks), annual travel credits that offset the fee, and elite-level travel protections.
Current Highlight: Right now, my favorite premium card has an elevated offer! The best premium cards offer a massive welcome bonus and annual credits that, if fully utilized, can make the high annual fee worthwhile. Weigh the pros and cons carefully before applying.
Business Cards
If you're a business owner (even a side hustler!), business cards help you keep expenses separate and often come with massive welcome bonuses, drastically boosting your total points balance.
Current Highlight: Look for business cards offering welcome bonuses of 100,000+ flexible points and excellent rewards on business-specific spending categories like internet/phone services and shipping.
Welcome Offer Eligibility Note
The rules for credit card welcome bonuses (sign-up bonuses) are tightening, particularly in the past year.
Single-Bonus Policy: Some major banks limit you to earning the bonus on a specific card only once every few years of even once in a lifetime.
"Family" Restrictions: Other issuers may make you ineligible for a sign-up bonus if you already have a card in the bank's card family (e.g., a premium or no-annual-fee version).
Always read the fine print on the application page carefully. Be sure you qualify for what you are looking to get from the card before applying, especially if you have an existing relationship with that bank or have held that specific card before.
*Note: Offers change fast! We do our best to keep this information accurate, but always verify terms, conditions, and rates on the provider's site before applying.
FFH may receive a referral bonus for approved applications. Our goal is always to help you find the best travel rewards for your goals.
