I also thought if you spent 8+ hours on a plane, and your plane ticket cost $600+ you should stay at your destination for at least a week. My work schedule never really seemed to accommodate long trips, and I didn’t have friends and family who wanted to travel overseas at the times that would work for me. Enter flights from home!

I was able to find a ticket for less than $400 RT for a four day trip to Paris and the adventures began. I’ll never forget the night before my first solo trip to Europe. I was scared to travel by myself, but at such a great price, how could I pass up the opportunity?!

It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken, and since I’ve taken trips to London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Zurich, and Rome, all by myself, and never for more than 5 days (and all booked with Flights From Home deals).

Not only have I loved the places I’ve been and things I’ve seen, but I’ve also really appreciated the confidence I’ve built in traveling by myself and not waiting for “someday” to do the things I really want!
